One of our families staying with us had three children and the two girls favourite thing to play was Barbies. Paige was nine, Brooke was seven, and Connor was three. At the time, all the playhouses at Ronald McDonald House® Northern Alberta were too small for Barbies to stand up. They either had to sit or lay down. So Paige, Brooke and Connor decided to pool their allowance money and bought a dollhouse worthy of their Barbies. As a family they put the house together and donated it to RMHNA. Now, anytime you see children playing with Barbies they are in the special dollhouse because Barbies have a proper place to play.
