“Nothing can compare to living at RMHCNA. We had other families around to help, and it was calming. RMHCNA was our home. The House was our sanctuary.” -Trinela, mother to House Hero Emerson
Who We Are
Our mission is to improve the lives of families with seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment in Edmonton. Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Alberta (RMHCNA) is the place where families find strength, and our community discovers the best in themselves every day through their support of RMHCNA.
What We Do
RMHCNA works to ease the financial and emotional burdens of families.
We operate programs that provide essential support and service, as well as comfort to families.
Who We Serve
While the families who stay at RMHCNA come from outside Edmonton, the House also helps families from Edmonton through the Day Pass Program, where families have access to all House programming.
There are also RMHCNA offices in the Peace Region and Lakeland Region to continue to serve and support families after they return home. Read our family stories to learn more about the families who call RMHCNA home.
Take A Tour
At the Ronald McDonald House families have warm beds, hot showers, laundry facilities, family-friendly kitchens, and playrooms – all the essentials of home, but the House is more than a home for families. See the House first hand by booking a tour.
