The RMHCNA families were warmly welcomed by the City of Spruce Grove this past Friday for our weekly field trip. It was an action packed afternoon that started off with an amazing lunch at Spruce Grove Fire Station #1 sponsored by McDonald’s Spruce Grove and Save-On-Foods Spruce Grove. We then had a tour of the station, including a look inside the ambulances and trucks, and the opportunity to spray the fire hose! Families then walked across the street to City Hall where Alderman Wayne Rothe spoke to us about the City of Spruce Grove before sending us on a photo scavenger hunt! The afternoon was topped off with a look inside some interesting transit vehicles, a police truck, and some delicious Ice Cream Sandwiches donated by the Lion’s Log Cabin.

We were so fortunate to be able to take our families on this amazing field trip experience to visit the City of Spruce Grove who have been such incredible supporters to RMHCNA. We want to genuinely thank Spruce Grove for your amazing hospitality on our field trip. The families truly had a wonderful time. Another huge thank you to McDonald’s Spruce Grove and Save-On-Foods Spruce Grove for the amazing lunch you provided families as well.
