Edmonton is known for its festivals, and the House Heroes and their caregivers love experiencing everything the summer festival season has to offer.
RMHCNA families took full advantage of the gorgeous weather on Friday to head to the first day of the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival for our weekly field trip. House Hero James hoped to see a juggler, and he was more than thrilled when we watched one of the performers juggle three blades while standing on top of the shoulders of an audience member.
The second show we watched was made extra exciting when House Dad, Clint, was chosen from the audience to help tie up an escape artist.
The afternoon finished with the kids trying out their own performance skills while learning some tricks. Plate spinning and hoola hooping were both hits! Everyone had a great time enjoying the festival and the perfect weather made this field trip one to remember.
