Last week we had a very educational field trip to the Makerspace at Stanley A. Milner Library. As it was our first time there, we didn’t know what to expect, but we were blown away by the hands-on technology we learned about and used.

The knowledgeable librarians showed us around the space and gave us the basics before setting us free to explore on our own. The House Heroes loved designing their own key chains to be printed on the 3D Printer, recording silly monster and chipmunk voices, tinkering with robots and, my personal favourite, playing with taking pictures using the green screen.

Thank you to the Edmonton Public Library for having us. We are already looking forward to coming back!
