Pumpkin doughnuts are by far our most requested recipe. We have considered blogging about it for some time, but we were always a little hesitant. Once the secret is out, RMHCNA just might not let us back in. It’s our hook you see. So, after a long debate, we did finally decide to break our pumpkin silence… sort of.

It’s important to note that making pumpkin doughnuts requires the use of a highly complicated formula, which over time we feel we have perfected:  Pumpkin + Donuts = Delicious

Our pumpkin is packed with vitamin A, which is good for everyone. Our doughnuts are baked, so that’s good too. Then there’s the deliciousness factor which you really can’t beat. You should definitely try to make these, or better yet just come on down to RMHCNA and try ours.

Doughnut pans (we use the mini doughnut pans)

Mix the scrumptious classified ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.  Then place the batter in a piping bag if you have one. We never do. Because we are so crafty we just use a Ziploc bag with the corner cut off. Fill the doughnut pans about ¾ full and bake at 350 degrees for an undisclosed amount of time. Remove from pan immediately and place in another Ziplock bag filled with more sweetness.

Shake and there you have it. Voila… pumpkin doughnuts! Enjoy!
