My very first task as a volunteer was making sandwiches to deliver to the hospital. Once a week, a team of volunteers visits delivers lunch to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and other families in the hospital with a child undergoing treatment.

I can only imagine how helpful the Meals that Mend: Hospital Lunch Program would be for a parent who spends a lot of time at the hospital with their child. Meal preparation eats up a lot of time and I know that parents would rather spend this time with their children.

Consider booking a meal at the House so these families can continue to spend quality time together.
