On Saturday we hosted the first Lakeland Home Away from Home for Dinner in Cold Lake thanks to a generous sponsorship from Cenovus. The room was filled with volunteers and former families full of love, magic and awe.
There was painting, colouring, ornament making, cookie decorating and delicious food, but Santa stole the show by delivering gifts to astonished and delighted children.
This was the first of many family events in this region as we connect families and the Lakeland community to the House.
