At our Ronald McDonald House we celebrated the holiday season and our Light the House campaign by hosting an open house on December 7, 2016. Our friends and partners toured the House and learned about all the new programs and services the House is providing to families with sick children.
At 6:00pm all guests, including our families and House Heroes, bundled up and headed outside as we officially turned on our holiday lights for the season. In case you missed it, you can catch the lighting of the House on Facebook.
What our guests didn’t know was that a special visitor was coming to our House that night to help us celebrate Light the House. Santa Claus showed up just in time to help us turn on the lights, and stayed to visit and take photos with each and every family.
Santa even surprised all the staff by bringing donations for the Ronald McDonald House.
The night was filled with holiday magic, a special dinner catered Sawmill Banquet and Catering, a hot chocolate social, and many smiles throughout the House.
Thank you to all who participating in making the evening a special night for all families.
