“School at the House was so important and a large part of instilling that sense of normalcy for our family. My boys were able to continue working on the same material that their classmates at home were working on, making the transition back to school that much less difficult as they did not fall behind.” -Dale, Mom to House Hero Kamryn
About the Program
Our Education Program offers schooling for sick and sibling children grades one through twelve to attend class like they would at home. Classes run Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm with a certified teacher who reports progress to each child’s teacher back home.
How it Works
Whether a child is sick or a sibling, they are welcome in our Education Program. This includes:
- Children staying at the House.
- Children utilizing our Day Pass Program.
Our Teacher & Family Life Coordinator also relies on volunteers to provide one-on-one time for students.
