Many families that come to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton are from Northern Alberta, especially the Peace Region and Grande Prairie areas. Since opening our remote office in Grande Prairie we have been able to stay connected to families once they return home, and also raise funds for the House.
We’d like to say a special thank-you to our most recent Peace Region supporters.
Many different Peace Region schools support the House through fundraisers. Thank you Clairmont Community School, St. Patrick Catholic School, Alexander Forbes School, Maude Clifford Public School and Holy Cross Catholic School for supporting the House.
BrookLynn Ivany Walbrook stayed at the House with her family, and since returning home she loves showing her support to the House she called home. Thank you BrookLynn for donating $200.
On December 9, 2016, we hosted a Meals That Mend: Peace Region Holiday Edition. Thanks to Pembina Pipelines and Redwood Inn and Suites, over 200 family members gathered for an evening of connection and a holiday meal.
Because of Northern Bottling, Save-On-Foods, No Frills, and 97.7 ROCK, the Coca-Cola House of Hope was a success in supporting RMHCNA and the Salvation Army.
Each and every donor and volunteer has the power to make a difference for our families. Because of the community more and more families are being supported through the House, and we thank you for keeping families close.
