Growing up, every little thing my mom did embarrassed me. Whether she was dancing in the kitchen, monologuing what she was doing through song or telling cheesy jokes, I would roll my eyes and pretend that I didn’t know this crazy woman. I always said, “I’m NEVER going to be an uncool adult.”

Well, a mere 10 years later, I will admit that I do every single one of these things and completely embrace them! And lucky me, I get to do them all at work. Every morning I dance into the kitchen to say good morning to the families who are up. In the afternoon, I hang out with the kiddos and always have a joke or a few lines from “Let it Go” to sing for them… off-key and loudly (and trust me, they ALWAYS roll their eyes!).
