Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Alberta is a place of comfort for families with seriously ill or injured children seeking medical treatment in an Edmonton facility. But it is more than just a place of rest – it is where families can support each other and be close to their children when they are needed the most.
Below a few families share what the House meant to them:
“Thanks so much for having given us such a warm and comforting place to stay again this week. This was our second stay so far. Our grandson had life saving heart surgery at the Stollery at just 13 days old and staying at the House has made our family’s journey easier. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers.” –Cherri
“I cannot express how grateful my family is to be able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. Our son’s surgery has been stressful enough without having to worry about accommodations. The staff has been more then amazing. This House has been so much more to us then simply a place to lay our heads at night. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all the staff and volunteers who make this place so incredible!” –Monique
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about this House, the staff, and the volunteers. We were always greeted with kindness and were taken care of above and beyond our expectations. It truly is a home-away-from-home.” –Amanda
But we need your help.
The work we do is only possible because of donors like you. With your support, families at the Ronald McDonald House will have more than a place to stay. They will have a home.
